Half Dome Mirrors
Half dome 180
degree mirrors are used for T type intersections and are widely used in accident
prevention in passages. They also provide vision directly beneath the mirror which is
advantageous in some security applications. Use larger half domes in warehouse aisles that
end in a T-intersection. Quarter dome mirrors provide observation around blind corners and
give a much larger field of view than a standard convex mirror. Use quarter dome mirrors
when a standard convex mirror is not suitable. For general purpose applications acrylic
dome mirrors are most suitable. For use in high security areas such as prisons, corrective
centres or where the risk of self harm is evident, unbreakable polycarbonate is
recommended. Because of the nature of the material, it will not break, splinter or tear.
The polycarbonate versions are provided with fully captive steel frames for high security
applications. See
Polycarbonate Cell Mirrors

Use dome, half dome and quarter dome
mirrors for extra wide observation
Ideal for passage ways, crossways and T type intersections
No adjustment required, flush mounting
