Dome Mirrors
Full domes provide all round 360 degree coverage of an area but because of the curvature, the mirror needs to be reasonably large to maintain definition. Use the 60cm dome for passages that cross or for looking over aisles. Use the larger 90cm dome for warehouse crossways to observe all directions at once. A single dome provides the same coverage as four convex mirrors!  For general purpose applications acrylic dome mirrors are most suitable. For use in high security areas such as prisons, corrective centres or where the risk of self harm is evident, unbreakable polycarbonate is recommended. Because of the nature of the material, it will not break, splinter or tear. The polycarbonate versions are provided with fully captive steel frames for high security applications.
