Concave Mirrors
Apart from our comprehensive
range of safety mirrors, Acril Convex also manufacture a set of concave and
convex mirrors specifically for educational needs. Consisting of large 60cm
diameter mirrors, they are ideal for demonstrating the principles of light,
solar energy and sound. Students can easily observe and participate in classroom
experiments. Dramatic effects can be achieved by focussing sunlight onto dry
timber causing it to ignite nearly instantaneously. Always a great affect to
capture the students attention! The mirrors are supplied with instruction
booklet, mounting base and hardware and are available in both concave and convex
shapes.
